Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Gran Cónsul/20
35 in stock
Antano means "long ago" or "before" in Spanish and is intended as a reminder that these cigars were already one of the most popular cigars on the American market in the 1960s. Since 1964 they are produced entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco. Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 is a bold smoke cigar with initial leather notes that transition into sweeter hazel, chocolate and honey smoke with woody aromas in the long finish. This series of cigars aims to "represent the land and torcedores of Nicaragua, as the fruit of the beloved fields and finally as a mirror of our souls!" Due to its intensity and complexity, the Gran Consul cigar is best paired with drinks with a full body and pronounced character, eg Lagavulin 16, Ardbeg Uigeadail, with Cabernet Sauvignon wine. The cigar received 92 points according to Cigar Aficionado magazine in 2021. Grab them while they last, as they don't last long on the shelves.
