The Hidalgos cigar is one of three new vitola cigars reserved exclusively for the super premium new line of Habanos brand Romeo y Julieta, founded in 1875, called "Línea de Oro". The tobacco blend is described as medium to strong, which is new for the Romeo y Julieta brand, previously known as mild to medium strong, and also expands the range in terms of flavor. The Hidalgos cigar is packaged in high-gloss lacquered boxes in a warm reddish brown color. The lid features the Romeo y Julieta brand logo with a classic balcony scene in the form of a medallion. The edges of the lid and the bottom are highlighted in gold.
